I started out working as an in-house illustrator for the University of Missouri - School of Medicine. I worked with a group of talented programmers and web developers. My duties included photography and videotaping medical students for future training reference. I had a really great time working for this group.

I later leaving the School of Medicine, I accepted a position as a Graphic Designer for Student Auxiliary Services. Luckily I have the great opportunity to continue my education while working.

I enjoy continuing my education by taking web development and marketing courses. These classes align well with my personal goals of becoming a web design expert. I am working toward obtaining a masters degree in web development and marketing. Education plays an important role for me because of the ever changing world of design.

I’m also a well-rounded print artist that can help with merchandise design, record covers, posters and flyers. I’ve also worked on designs for digital media such as packaging, installations, widgets, apps and various other media.

I primarily focus on layout and branding design, as well as publication design. I’ve been using desktop publishing design programs such as Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for almost ten years. I work well with other designers and design teams, and can greatly help on strategizing and conceptualizing projects with marketing and sales groups. I also enjoy fine art and illustration projects.

I’ve been using HTML & CSS for three months now. I work well with other engineers and backend teams. I can also help with user interface and experience projects, as well as data visualization.
