Design Plan & Low Fidelity Prototype

Team 6: Rachel Ogg, David Champlin

Project Target: UM Legislative Update

Part I: Design Specifications

  1. Describe the Visual Aesthetics along with the outcome and/or moderating variable(s)
  2. The legislative update will have a clean design that will not distract from reading the content. Minimal design is the main theme of the layout. Simple in defined areas of the layout help to give contrast between content and navigation. Visual imagery will now be in a defined space and more prominent than in the previous version of the website. The color scheme will feature high contrast between the text and the background.

The focus of using the minimalist design is for the user to easily read the content. If they can not understand what they are reading they won’t be able to post a comment. It is the goal of the website for the user to be more interactive with government issues concerning the University of Missouri.
