PM Project: Final

Part 5: Project End Checklist

  1. Gain Client Acceptance
    1. This has been completed since the begining of the project.
    2. The stakeholders have been notified about the completion of the branding.
    3. All notifications have been documented with PDFs and emails.
  2. Transition deliverables to owner
    1. The stakeholder's new branding is complete.
    2. Deliverables included:
      • Company new Logos in two versions with selected PMS colors and the other just using black.
      • Stationary
      • Company New value statement
      • New Website using CMS
      • Training sessions for CMS has been scheduled for the company's marketing staff.
  3. Close out contract obligations
    1. All copywriters, graphic designers and web developers have been paid in full for their services.
  4. Capture lessons learned
    1. Be ready to accept delays with the decision making process of the stakeholder. Specifically when the stakeholders are a group of opinionated real estate brokers.
    2. The logo redesign was a point of contention for the stakeholders because they were very proud of it and our apporch to redesigning it could have been better. Don't make jokes about a client's dated branding.
  5. Update organization's central information repository
    1. Repositories for website images and copy has been save end organized to a Cloud storage service for the client.
    2. All content assets have been uploaded to the client's website server.
  6. Issue final financials
    1. Final invoices have been sent, approved and paid in full.
    2. A budget summary report that explains a breakdown of the vendors and deliverables will be provided to the client.
  7. Close accounts and charge codes
    1. The stakeholder's account have been closed.
    2. Training sessions will be charged to the client.
  8. Update resource schedule
    1. This has been updated throughout the project.
    2. All the the design team has been notified that the project is finished.
  9. Conduct Performance evaluations
    1. The graphic design team will be evaluated because of a problem that occurred during the logo design process.
  10. Update resume
    1. Our design firm' website will have examples of this projects uploaded shortly.
  11. Market project accomplishments
    1. We have not a couple of real estate firms to soliciate our services.
  12. Ask for referrals/references
    1. The client has given out design firm permission to use their company as a reference on out website.
  13. Celebrate!
    1. A website launch party has been scheduled after Christmas.
